The United Theatre, in partnership with Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo present – UNITED FOR GRADS: A virtual concert celebrating Rhode Island’s Class of 2020. The program includes musical performances from Jon Batiste; The Ballroom Thieves; Lake Street Dive singer Rachael Price with Taylor Ashton; Walk the Moon; and Deer Tick; as well as shout-outs from Stephen Colbert; Keri Russell; Matthew Rhys; Shepard Fairey; Richard Jenkins; and more.

With graduations, activities, and celebrations canceled as a result of the COVID-19 crisis, the virtual concert is a way to unite the State around Rhode Island’s graduates and use the arts to celebrate the more than 9,000 graduating Rhode Island high school seniors.

As part of our commitment to the arts and arts education in our region, The United Theatre produced this program with generous support from Amica Insurance, Bank of America, Lisa Bisaccia and Robert Naparstek, Citizens Bank, CVS Health, and the Rhode Island Foundation. One hundred percent of funds raised by UNITED FOR GRADS directly benefits artists financially affected by COVID-19. Funds will be evenly distributed between the Newport Festivals Foundation Musicians Relief Fund; the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra Musician Relief Fund; and the Rhode Island Artist Relief Fund.
